Teen Advisory Group

The Teen Advisory Group, or TAG, is a group of Simi Valley Teens who are interested in shaping the direction of the Simi Valley Public Library’s teen program by making their voices heard. TAG is a great opportunity for teen patrons to get involved at their library. Members work closely with David Rosenberg, the Teen Services Librarian, to do the following:

  • Develop and plan new library programs just for teens
  • Choose books, movies, and graphic novels for the library collection Create displays in the teen area and decorate the Teen Lounge
  • Review books to be posted on the library’s social media
  • Earn Community Service Hours
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Gain valuable experience for college and jobs
  • Make new friends!
