Bookmark Contest

It’s time for our annual bookmark contest! Every year the Simi Valley Public Library holds a bookmark contest leading up to Summer Reading, the winners of which will be printed and available at the library throughout the summer! Here’s what you need to know:

  • You do need to have a library card in order to enter the contest. Don’t have a library card yet? Click here to register for a card online. This is a great opportunity to dive into all of the other things you can access with a library card as well, such as e-books, audiobooks, streaming video, and more! Check out here to see what online resource we have.
  • Our theme for this years Summer Reading is “Dig Deeper”. This theme invites you to dig below the surface, whether that’s by exploring in nature, investigating new places and ideas, or discovering the unknown. The possibilities are endless so get creative, there are no wrong answers!
  • You can use crayons, colored pencils, or markers for your design. Designs do need to fit the boundaries of the box (2 inches by 7.5 inches) in order to print properly if your design is the winner!

Interested in submitting your design? You can download and print the submission form here! You can also send a digital copy of your submission to [email protected]!
