Our online resources are accessible at our library or anytime online via our website with a Simi Valley Public Library card. When accessing the databases it is necessary to have a library card and PIN ready as it will be necessary to provide this information to gain access to the databases.

JobNow & VetNow services include expert coaching and self-study tools to empower users. Users may access live, on-demand assistance from expert Job Coaches or Veteran Navigators.

Coursera is the global online learning platform that offers online courses and degrees from world-class universities and companies. You can take courses to acquire job-relevant skills and credentials from many different major businesses and organizations. SVPL users can sign up for 6 months of Coursera access on the CA State Library website. After registering, Coursera can be accessed directly at coursera.org.
LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com)
An online educational site that includes thousands of video-based courses in popular fields like web design, web development, IT, education/instruction, media production, and business. Courses can be accessed at the library or from home. A valuable resource for anybody looking to land a job, move up in their career, excel in the position they have, or just explore an area of interest.
