Buy Used Books

Simi Valley Friends of the Library receives donated books in excellent condition to be sold in the Friends’ Bookstore.  All revenue directly supports the Simi Valley Public Library.  The Friends’ Bookstore sells books for children, teens, and adults.  Many current items by popular authors can be purchased, and the store also features vintage hardcover books, DVDs, and paperbacks. 

Community members can purchase deeply discounted items by the bag or box at Quarterly Blowout Book Sales.  Please check the Simi Valley Friends of the Library or the Library’s calendar for an upcoming Blowout Book Sale date. 

Dedicated volunteers sort donations, stock the shelves, and cashier in the store.  Find out how you can be involved!
